The first meeting of the Junior Membership was held.
With committee Chairman Bob Baker and Co-Chairman Jamie Fetters had the boys develop and decide on drawings to build bird houses as a conservation project. The boys were able to learn how to properly use a number of power tools and how to measure, cut and drill the lumber to build the houses.
The following young men decided on which design they wanted to build Timothy Stansberry, Domonle Gross, Dalton Baggett, Dylan Lukeman and Nicholas Fetters. The boys reviewed the plans and proceeded to build the bird houses.
A great time was had by the boys and they completed 2 bird houses. Next month they will continue to work on the bird houses with more to be completed. After completing the project the boys will check with Rob and ask where he wants the houses placed on the Club property! The Jr. Members meet the 1st Saturday of each month from 10am to 12 noon at the WSSC.
